Didn't think I would find a good bagel after moving to FL from NY but I found BagelWorks...fantastic bagels, wonderful folks who work the counter...you can also diner in..all the dishes look great. Definitely stop in for a bagel with a shmere! -

Dad had been telling us for a while about Bagelworks in Del Boca Vista for a while and this past week we went for breakfast and also purchased some bagels to go. We arrived and quickly sat at the counter which is always a great experience as you can schmooze with the folks behind the counter. We especially loved watching the lox maven slice up the lox with his electric circular lox knife. Ali was our waitress and did a wonderful job making sure we were all set and always had our drinks filled. Dad ordered oatmeal with a sesame bagel with jam and I ordered a sesame bagel with three scoops, two white fish salad scoops and one Legendary tuna scoop. Sides and cream cheese are also provided with the three scoop option and I gave Dad my cucumber salad and asked to take my cream cheese home for the at home bagels. On our way out we purchased an additional six bagels to go and they were a big hit with the cream cheese when we arrived home. Until next time, remember, keep it Legendary! -

I’m a transplanted NYer, big surprise in SE Florida. I’m 74 and have smoked fish and bagels at least 40 of the 52 Sundays! In my humble opinion, the quality of the smoked fish at Bagel Works in Boca is by far the best we’ve found! I refer to Bagel Works as the Russ & Daughters of Florida!!! Incredibly high quality fish of the highest order! We did a spread sheet and did a comparison of all the bagel shops in a 5 mile radius, no comparison! Thank you Mike and your whole team!!!
